Boots Botanics Ionic Clay Mask #powerofplants

BEAUTIES!!

I have another product to recommend to you!

Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask!

This is an amazing and I would almost call it hypoallergenic mask from Boots Beauty USA that I received free from Influenster to try!

At $9.39 for 3.5 fl oz, it is on the steeper end of a mask BUT you only have to use just a little to get an overall coverage of face area with this mask that it is SOOO worth the price!

Here I am, putting it on!
Squish! Squish! Squish!

You leave it to dry for 10 miutes...
Then you wipe off any excess with a tissue, and believe me this stuff starts to crumble when it's dry...
That's dust from the mask when I was wiping it off...lol

Now, I do not have an after photo because I was actually hopping in the shower to rinse it off and go straight to work, BUT I will say I noticed significantly cleaner pores, and an overall feeling of new skin. Just slap on a dab or two of your favorite moisturizer (hello, H20 Plus Marine!) and you're good to go!

I would give this a rating of "BUY"!!!

Until next time, Beauties!

Kiss Natural Lashes

Check out my lashes!

They look so great and natural right? WRONG! They look great BUT they're so not natural! These are the Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes I received in my J'adore VoxBox from Influenster!

At $3.99 they're a total steal, but I didn't even have to go that far because they were sent to me free to review!

These lashes are lovely and they do look very natural. I am one of the poor unfortunate Beauties that doesn't own a lash applicator, so I'm going to show you how to put these babies on in a few steps with a pair of tweezers!

Step 1: Open package, oh la la!

Step 2: Remove CAREFULLY from packaging

Step 3: Add included lash glue to entire false lash

Step 4: Wait for the glue to become clear and tacky, about 30 seconds.

Step 5: Carefully pick up lashes with a pair of tweezers (I used e.l.f. Cosmetics brand tweezers)

Step 6: Carefully apply lashes to lash line. Some say start in the middle, others say corner, and others say inner corner. Whatever works for you is what I say!

Step 7: Make sure they are placed right!

Step 8: Hold in place until dry, you can use tweezers for this but I preferred to use my hands, and make sure to make any adjustments. I was doing this semi-one handed so the picture looks off...

Step 9: Off you go with your bad self and those beautiful lashes!

Overall I give these lashes a rating of "BUY"!!!!!

They are lovely and do look very natural. However, they do take time and I'm a busy girl so these will have to be my dressy lashes!

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!

See you next time, beauties!

Graze Box Item #1

Item #1 Review:

Nacho Libre

This yummy container has a mixture of salsa almonds, cheesy sombreros, and jumbo chili corn.
As with other Graze snacks, these snacks are big on taste, not on calories. The almonds had a nice savory spice but were not firey hot, or even mild. They were just warm, which I enjoyed. The cheesy sombreros had a slight rice cracker texture but were mildly nacho flavored and satisfyingly crunchy. The corn had a nice, slightly smoky chili coating and the crunch was reminscent of Corn Nuts brand snacks.

This was definitely a LOVE IT in my book.
Stay tuned for my review of the Honeycomb Flapjacks.

Until next time, my beauties...

I am not being paid for this review. This box was sent to me free as part of a membership program. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

Fifth , free, and FINAL Graze Box (And why I unsubscribed)

Oh Graze box, I will be very sad to see you go...

Graze boxes  are shipped out every week to every 4 weeks, depending on your elected preference. The cost per box is $6 dollars, and the 1st and 5th boxes are free! This lovely box comes from a company all about healthy snacking and sustainability. The box is recyclable and can also be used as a flower planter.

You also have the option every month of choosing to donate $1 to feeding hungry families or getting a $1 of your next box (I always chose the donation).

So why am I canceling this wonderful box?

...For personal reasons. I'm coming up on a possible move out of state within the next year as well as trying to take care of some things financially and I need to trim the fat as far in some places. I will not be canceling my Birchbox until August, and I will probably end up cancelling Ipsy eventually, but it's honestly because I'm starting to have an overabundance of many things. I want to avoid that.

Regardless, I loved this box and so will you, if you're into health snacking. I'll include the link below for you to sign up. I only have a few invites.

Here's a better look at the box:

The one in the corner that you can barely see is called Nacho Libre.

I will be doing a review on all of these snacks in the next few blogs.

Be sure to check them out!

Umaibo! Yummy!

What is this?!?!?!

I recently got two boxes in the mail, both identical and ordered from Skoshbox.

Skoshbox is actually a subscription box service that ships at least 9 candies and snacks  from Japan (via Hawaii) every month for the low cost of $12. I have received several of these boxes and have been pleasantly surprised with all of them. The item pictured above is called Umai ("yummy" or "delicious" ) or Umaibo ("Delicious stick"). They have the texture and crunch of an American cheese curl but the flavors are like nothing you've ever tried.
The box came with 7 sticks but after a long night of gaming, I had one of each left and even that was hard to do. They are soooo good.
Let's check them out!

The pictured one here is the Teriyaki Burger flavor. It was awesome! I literally thought I was tasting teriyaki flavored beef. So yummy! Very savory and sweet!

The one pictured above is Pizza flavored, but this isn't your American pizza flavored snack. The taste of this actually tastes somewhat like a cheese pizza, as opposed to the American snacks (like Pizza Pringles) which taste mostly like basil tomato sauce. Very nice :)

This stick is Curry flavored. I can't believe how much it actually tasted like Curry. It had the subtle sweetness, and yet the smokey taste of cumin and the mouth tingle of curry. Curry lovers, try this one!

This one is Shrimp and Mayonnaise. Wait! Before you draw back in abject horror, this was actually very good. It reminded me of crab cakes!

My personal favorites would probably have to be the Shrimp and Mayo and the Teriyaki Burger. I've also had the Corn Potage flavor and the Cheese flavor.
So tell me, have you tried these before? What did you like about them? What didn't you like? Favorite flavor?

See you next time my beauties!

Ipsy February 2014 The Look of Love

The Look of Love
Ipsy February 2014 Bag

Oh how I LOVE my Ipsy bags!

This month's theme was The Look of Love.

Let's get down to business...

The Zoya polish is full size ($10) and in the color Odette which is a cute, pastel mauve color.

The Eyetini
Eye Cordial Shadow + Base is full size ($18) and in the color Spiced
Rum which is a nice warm cinnamony brown. This could also maybe double
as a bronzer.

The J. Cat Beauty Eyelashes are full size ($3.99) and in the style EL20. Not to crazy but not to understated.

The POP Beauty Plump Pout is a mini sample (Full size is $16, so generous guess is $4 for sample) but is still quite a lot of product and in the color Fuschia Freesia. I thought it was going to be horrifically bright but is a bit sheer and lovely.

The Pacifica Body Butter is deluxe sample size ($4.67) and is the Hawaiian Ruby Guava scent. Smells delicious and is a decent moisturizer.

3 Full Size and 2 Deluxe Sample Size totaling approximately $40.66 in worth. Oh Ipsy, you killed it this month! See you next time!

Oh my nose! I'm ole-ficially in love!

I've been wanting to try to Revlon Parfumerie polishes since I saw them in InStyle...and oh I was NOT disappointed! These polishes are great! A little sheer, but two coats and you have a brilliant, pearlescent set of tips ready to tantalize your nose. I happened to pick this one up at Wal-Mart for $4.97 (Holy bargain, batman!) and tried it as soon as I got home. When the polish dries, it leaves behind this absolutely lovely scent, similar to something you'd find in a B&BW store.  It's floral with a light but bodied musk undertone. I never thought I'd say that about polish. Seriously, if you're looking to teach your tips a new trick, go for this.

The Beauty gives it 5/5!
